It may be that in their own way, each of these situations contributed meaningfully to the main characters’ efforts. It’s possible that the divine consciousness didn’t have individual reasons for making people disappear this singular event could have been the driving force behind all of them, even the incident with Al-Zuras’ ship. Noah Ark’s excluded, each disappearance associated with Manifest’s story may have a secret connection to the 2024 apocalypse. But in the cases of Griffin, the meth addicts, and all the rest, their respective Death Dates weren’t tied to world-ending disasters, and there’s no indication that this fits Al-Zuras’ situation either. One exception to that would be Manifest's Noah’s Ark, since what happened to it is tied to another apocalyptic event, the Great Flood. Manifest season 4 strongly implied that everything that’s happened to the main characters has been about the apocalypse, but if that’s true, that compounds the mysteries tied to the other disappearances, since their timelines don’t match up with the apocalypse. This is indicative of not every disappearance sharing the same circumstances.
